Aimee Hennessy

Village Manager, Seabeach Gardens

I first commenced work at Seabeach Gardens in 1995. As my four children were young at the time I worked on a part-time basis. As my children grew, so did my hours at Seabeach Gardens until I became the full time Village Manager in 2008.

Managing Seabeach Gardens is a very rewarding occupation as our Village is a very happy one. Being Village Manager, I get to know not only our residents but also their families and these ongoing relationships form a very enjoyable and important part of my job.
My leisure time is spent swimming, walking, exercising, reading and spending time with my family.

 

Ellina Livits

Village Manager, Maroubra Gardens 

As a passionate positive and dedicated individual with years of experience in business, both within private and non for profit organisations as well as years in management of numerous retirement villages - I bring my genuine respect and admiration for people to my role as Village manager of Maroubra Gardens. I believe that we all have the capacity to inspire one another, and working harmoniously together we are able to achieve spectacular things and enhance each other's lives. This is something I strive to do every day and it is what drives me! In a tranquil and beautiful Sydney Beachside location, the setting at Maroubra Gardens village coupled with a vibrant community of kind and caring residents and staff alike - it is a beautiful village I'm so excited and proud to be a part of.

 

Melinda Collins

Village Manager,  Lane Cove Gardens

I started working for Baldwin Care Group in 2003 at Vaucluse Gardens in Hobart, while I finished my studies.  I enjoyed working there so much I stayed on and became Activities and Administration Officer in 2007. 

In 2014 I moved to Sydney to take on the role of Village Manager of Lane Cove Gardens

The village is a wonderful place to work, such lovely residents and surrounds.  We are spoilt by views of Lane Cove National Park and the sweeping greens of Chatswood Golf Course.

Over the years I have had the privilege of getting to know many residents and their families and sharing in their lives.  It is such a rewarding industry to be a part of.

Village Manager, Baldwin Living Northside

I was pleased to bring my considerable retirement living experience with large retirement companies in South East Queensland to the Baldwin Care Group, as manager of Baldwin Living Northside. It is great working in a boutique village and the apartments, village surroundings and residents here are absolutely wonderful!  I enjoy my role immensely and have enjoyed similar positions in the past as demonstrated by becoming QLD manager of the year and National finalist in the Retirement Village Association awards in 2010.

Prior to working in the Retirement Living sector, I was a Program manager and Branch Manager for large not for profit organisations, but managing retirement villages gives me great satisfaction and enjoyment as I love making a positive difference in people’s lives.

 

Trish Flower

Village Manager,  Baldwin Living Sequana

Joining Baldwin Living Sequana back in December 2014 coincided the purchase of the village by Baldwin Care Group. A background in general and human resource management within the corporate world combined with previous property management experience has been a useful foundation for my role as the Village Manager.

Sequana is an idyllic location to work, being set in lush tropical garden surroundings within range of rural hinterland, yet still in close proximity to shopping, medical and other facilities.

The Sequana residents are quite active and involved in making the village an enjoyable and stimulating place to be, so I value the contribution I can make to this. In my time so far at Sequana I feel I have built very solid relationships with the various residents, whilst meeting their individual needs in a myriad of ways and working to build a community that they are happy living in.

 

Felicity Oakford

Village Manager, Vaucluse Gardens

I began working at Vaucluse Gardens at the beginning of March 2006 in the Sales and Corporate Office. Late in 2006 I took on the role as the Sales Manager and in 2012 I became Village Manager. I have the pleasure of showcasing our retirement village and residential care facility to visitors each day. I enjoy the diversity of my role, the garden surroundings and interaction with our lovely staff and residents. In my spare time I enjoy the company of family and friends.

 

Gary Coates

Village Maintenance, Vaucluse Gardens

I have been working at Vaucluse Gardens since 2011, and not only enjoy the variety of work, but also interacting with the residents and fellow staff members. On a personal note I enjoy family activities. I am a keen fisherman and am also affiliated with the Australian Clay Target Association.
