Baldwin Living HomeServe

Baldwin Living HomeServe provides services in your own home either under a Home Care Package subsidised by the Government (if you are eligible), or on a private service basis where all costs are paid by the user.

With private care, you are not required to have any health or income assessments; you’ll pay the full cost of the services out of your own income.

You can decide exactly what kinds of services you need, with no need for approval from anyone. And you can begin care immediately, as soon as an appointment is available.

Baldwin Living HomeServe aims to provide a supported living environment within your home settings and promote wellness and independence for all consumers.

With the introduction of Consumer Directed Care (CDC) by the Federal Government, the decision about how funding is spent for care at home is given to the individual. Under CDC, people now have more choice on how their care is delivered and their funding is allocated.

Baldwin Living HomeServe, being an approved provider, is set up to provide you assistance in understanding the range of choices available and to help you in making informed decisions about the kind of care you can receive and how funding is spent.

The program aims to provide long-term support where you get to choose the services and support that will make a difference to your life.

There are four levels of Home Care Packages for different levels of care and support needs:

Level 1 for basic care needs
Level 2 for low-level care needs
Level 3 for intermediate care needs
Level 4 for high-level care needs

HOW IT WORKS

Home Care Package funds aren’t paid directly to you. Instead, you choose an approved Home Care Provider, in this instance Baldwin Living HomeServe, to administer the funds on your behalf and give you ‘case management’ support and service.
